Yes! Finally we are planning to get back in the saddle. The Winter is over, I’ve taken Genie out of the turbo-trainer and another ride with the Climate Vision riders is in planning.
This time we are part of the Rebel Riders of the Ecopocalypse and the plan is to ride from Falmouth, Cornwall to London to arrive for the week of disruptive action from April 15th with Extinction Rebellion.
Euan and Ricky are both in, we are waiting confirmation from Ewan who is away at present, the route is drafted, a couple of other rebels have stated intention to join with us.
Other groups are planning similar rides from all over the country converging on London. We are setting up events in our stage towns (Liskeard, Launceston, Barnstaple, Taunton, Frome and Newbury) and look forward to meeting people in those places, either to ride into or out of town with us or for a convivial social evening.
The departure is Monday 8th April. Time to click back in and get some miles under the wheels in preparation. The sun is shining today, I’m off out for a test ride…
