Well only for a day, but at least I have finally got around to getting a halfway decent ride in. Going over to visit mum for the weekend I decided to set off early with the bike in the car and park up about halfway then cycle for the day and finish off with a train to Chichester. Just a short first warm-up today with Jane in preparation for the Big Ride For Palestine at the beginning of August which we have signed up for.

Over to Roadford and back with a nice very full sandwich and panini in the cafe. Only mistake was missing a turn on the way out and having to climb a 1 in 6 twisty hill – I did have to stop for a breather half way up.  Continue reading “Out to Lunch”
